Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver Review
When Audemars Piguet announced the new Royal Oak Offshore Diver Ref REF. #15710ST.OO.A070CA.01 several publications were left wondering if this new array of colours (following the previous issue of the diver chronograph in the same colour palette of orange, green, yellow and blue) was yet another summer only watch.
We disagree: this watch is indeed for the bold CEO that doesn't need the conformity of a Rolex Daytona or the Royal Oak "Jumbo" extra thin but it does fit perfectly well in a business setting.
we let the images speak for themselves. Very unique and at ease in the boardroom or the beach. We feel that this model is more practical than the diver chrono that lacked the date and -- as a modular chronograph -- it was also thicker.
And yes, it does fit under the sleeve too.
The AP Royal Oak Offshore Diver is powered by the AP manufacture Calibre 3120. With 60 hours power reserve it is a very reliable in-house movement. The gold rotor with the AP coat of arms allows the owner to admire it outside or inside the water.
We couldn't end this review without a real life use in the hot tub. If you looking for a daring, bold and unique CEO watch the AP Royal Oak Offshore diver will not disappoint you.
